LAKE TV 24 Description is looking for an experienced on-air talent for its broadcast operations. The position requires approximately 15-20 hours a week, with opportunity in the future to become full-time. Duties include hosting weekly Lake Area highlight programs for air on regional and online publications. The accepted applicant should expect a lively and dynamic work atmosphere, and special compensation packages related to company and personal performance. Responsibilities include: * Write, edit & deliver, on-air scripts * Help define and develop the style of some of our shows * Propose new segments, features or other programming to advance the quality and accessibility of Lake TV 24 programming * Help promote on-air content in the various markets it is delivered; generally, represent the company well as the face of the LAKE TV brand * Post breaking news items to website and social media * Some travel as required * Other duties as may be necessary to complete core responsibilities Qualifications: * Bachelors Degree preferred * On-air experience, not necessary strongly encouraged * Experience with professional video editing software is preferred * Ability to handle multiple ongoing projects with minimal supervision, self-direct and achieve results * Expert interpersonal skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills Salary: Commensurate with experience How to Apply: Please submit a resume, a head shot along with cover letter to the above email subject line: "On-Air Talent position," prior to Jan 27.
