Physician Office/Clinic OR Customer Service position
My husband reached retirement benefit age last year and I decided to join him. I have discovered that my personna is not ready to be retired and wish to return to the world of "gainfully employed".

I have held my Missouri RN license in good standing since 1972 and my BLS is current. I have experience in med/surg, psychiatric and detox acute care/hospital nursing and a few years of long term care geriatric nursing. I have also worked as an Independent Contractor completing Paramedical Exams for varying insurance companies as part of their pre-approval policy process.

I took a 4 yr. respite from nursing when my husband and I became self-employed "anitque dealers" selling out of a local antique mall and online websites. During 2 years of that time, I also worked at the antique mall we sold out of in a customer service/cashier position. Duties included opening/closing of store, maintainin cleanliness/appearance of the store and merchandise, greeting customers and providing assistance as needed, processing cash and credit card payments, balancing cash flow/receipts for the day, maintaining records of individual dealer account/sales utilizing their in house computer system and making bank deposits to the store account at the end of the day.

I am seeking a position which offers an 8-9 hr. workdays vs. the 12 hr. shifts that are mandated through hospital employment, available days (8 am start)/evenings/nights. I consider myself to have outstanding people and communication skills; capable to quickly learn and adapt to new procedures/protocol proficiently; ability to master varying computer programs to complete required work in a timely manner.
