Multimedia Coordinator

Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) is seeking a Multimedia Coordinator to join our national team located in Camdenton, Missouri. C.O.P.S. is a non-profit organization that provides resources to assist in the rebuilding of the lives of surviving families and co-workers of law enforcement officers, who have died in the line of duty.
Responsibilities:
Ongoing management and growth of social media and online promotional aspects of C.O.P.S.
Assists with technical duties in the production of web-based video and audio projects, video streaming, and other field and studio video and audio productions.
Understands and maintains growing trends across social media and measuring analytics.
Answers inquiries sent via social media.
Assists with filming and gathering content for promotional purposes, including video, audio, and photography.
Collaborates internally to develop marketing and communications plans that leverage the social media space.
Develops content across owned and earned social channels. This could include blog posts, tweets, status updates, pins, photos, and videos.
Creates, manages, and grows the organization’s presence across social media channels, including, but not limited to, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.
Assists C.O.P.S. Chapters with social media and developing content for cross posting.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Multimedia, Communications, Marketing, Business Development, or a similar field and be able to demonstrate exceptional skill in a variety of social media platforms. Computer skills include:
-Microsoft products
-Adobe Creative Cloud
-Zoom
Experience in:
Photography/Videography
Social Media Sites (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
Working knowledge of:
-AV equipment, mixers/soundboards, wireless mic systems, projectors, speakers, cords, etc.
-Setting up a lighting kit; 3-point light Etc...
This full-time position will primarily work Monday through Friday, but occasional evening and weekend work will be required. A moderate amount of out-of-town travel will be required.
